GCSE Retakes

Book in your GCSE retake with the dedicated resit service, Pass My GCSE. This service will provide you with the support you need to pass your GCSE on the next attempt, and will sort booking you in for an exam centre close to you. You can also book your GCSE resits directly via the links below.

You can select exam only options, or opt for the exam & course options. The courses are ideal for adult learners looking for a course that they can sit from the comfort of heir own home, around their other commitments. 

Functional Skills

Instead of sitting a GCSE retake, you may want to look at functional skills qualifications. These are equivalent to a pass (grade 4 or C) at GCSE. You can take a functional skills in English and maths. One of the main advantages of sitting a functional skills qualification is that it can be sat at home, with online invigilation, at multiple times each day. The results are also much quicker than GCSEs, with the leading provider Pass Functional Skills offering results in as little as 2 weeks. One more advantage is that there is generally much less to revise, as the curriculums are shorter than full GCSEs. The only downside to functional skills as an alternative to a GCSE resit is the grade, you can’t get higher than a grade 4.
