Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam

 

The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam takes 2 hours. The first 30 minutes are non-calculator assessments while the remaining 90 minutes are calculator assessments. Both sections assess 3 core mathematical areas:

1. Using Numbers: The building blocks of maths, with calculations involving decimals, fractions and percentages.
2. Common Measures, Shape and Space: Applies maths to real world scenarios, with topics such as ratio, compound growth and volumes of 3D shapes.
3. Handling Information and Data: understanding data, finding the mean and probability, and interpreting scatter graphs.
