The Pass Functional Skills English Practice Papers are great preparation for your exam! The layout, style and questions types of these papers are based off the real exams, for the exam board of your choosing. Choose between City & Guilds, Edexcel, NCFE and Open Awards. 

Each of the 10 papers you receive (5 reading and 5 writing) comes with a detailed mark scheme, so you can mark your answers, and see where to improve. Each writing paper also includes a comprehensive answer guide, showing you how to answer the questions in the best way, to pick up the most marks, and what the examiners are looking for!

How to get your papers marked professionally:

1. Sit your papers (or paper) in strict exam conditions, i.e. without any revision notes, phones or tablets, and set a timer.
2. Once finished, scan in the answers using your mobile phone or tablet, and save as a PDF.
3. Send this to us via the following email address: [email protected]
4. This will be picked up by a member of our marking team. They will mark it and send you your results, show you where you picked up the marks and provide detailed and personalised feedback, along with some examiner’s notes.

If you select the “1 Paper Marked with Detailed Feedback” option, you can choose which paper you want to be marked. If you send us multiple papers then only one will be marked.
